Savour award-winning whiskies from our Whisky 1901 Windows

Inspired by the wine windows of Tuscany, we’ve teamed up Whisky 1901 to display six replica windows around the Blenheim Palace Estate. Each window will be serving five different award-winning Scotch whiskies.

The whiskies on offer:

Glendronach 12 year old.
This bottle has five awards. A sweet nose of Christmas cake fresh from the oven. Smooth on the palate with sherry, soft oak, fruit, almonds and spices. The finish is comparatively dry and nutty, ending with bitter chocolate.

Highland Park 12 year old.
This bottle has nine awards. The nose its fragrant and floral, with hints of heather and some
spice. Smooth and honeyed on the palate, with citrus fruits, malt and distinct tones of wood smoke in the warm, lengthy, slightly peaty finish.

Cragganmore 12 year old.
This bottle has one award. A nose of sherry, brittle toffee, nuts, mild wood smoke, angelica and
mixed peel. Elegant on the malty palate, with herbal and fruit notes, notably orange. Medium in length, with a drying, slightly smoky finish.

Benriach 10 year old.
This bottle has three awards. Citrus-forward, with gingerbread and cinnamon in support. On the
palate you will notice fried banana, brown sugar, powerful barley notes driving it all along. Lasting hints of peppery malt and vanilla custard finish.

Laphroaig quarter cask.
This bottle has nine awards.Oily and buttery nose, with toffee, nuttiness, hickory, bicarbonate of soda, rum and raisin ice cream and zest. Big rush of sweetness, in fact it’s an explosion of sweetness, with fiery chilli heat, sweet cereals and a touch of cola syrup.
