This one-of-a-kind spectacle will blend world-class equestrian sport with breathtaking displays, stirring ceremony, and the pageantry of international competition.
From the elegance of the First Horse Inspection to the adrenaline-fuelled arrival of the Red Devils Parachute Display Team, the afternoon will mark the start of an extraordinary week in the eventing calendar!

Official Opening Ceremony Schedule
12:00 noon – The First Horse Inspection
Also known as the trot-up, this traditional and highly anticipated moment sees each horse presented in-hand to the Ground Jury and Veterinary Delegate. It’s the first opportunity for officials – and the public – to assess that every horse is fit, sound, and ready to compete at the highest level. For riders, it’s also a chance to make a first impression, showcasing their horse’s condition, turnout, and movement.
14:00 – Trade Stands Open

15:30 – 16:30 – The Opening Ceremony
Arrival information:
If you’d like to attend the trot-up at 12:00, please park in the Blenheim Palace public car park (what3words: Rebounded.Airbrush.Shed). The public car park will open at 11:30.
If you have pre-booked In-Show Parking for the Opening Ceremony, you’ll be able to access the In-Show car park from 13:00. Please use the what3words location: Reshaping.Shocking.Snowstorm.
