The trade stand award for Best Open Space Stand 2023 at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (BPIHT) was presented to Callahans of Shrewsbury Fine Art Dealers.  Stella Callaghan was delighted to receive it in the first year they have attended Blenheim.

“We have exhibited at the Game Fair with much success so it made sense to follow the Stable Events team to BPIHT.  Working with them is a pleasure they are so approachable and helpful, so winning the award was really special,” Stella explained.

“We have so enjoyed showing the garden bronze sculptures in a landscaped garden setting, it gives potential purchasers a more visual feel of how they could look in their gardens and how they might weather the elements.  We can also show off a backdrop of some of our eclectic collection ranging from 20thc French, 19thc traditional British to contemporary artists.”

Joshua Jones took the Award for Best Large Stand on their first time back to Blenheim since before Covid.  The stand is all hand built by the craftsmen at Joshua Jones and the judges were impressed with the look, atmosphere and presentation of the stand.  Tom and Joshua Jones were on the stand when we caught up with them this morning.  “We are genuinely delighted to have won the award.  We have a great location and are really enjoying being back at Blenheim.”

Another first timer at Blenheim, Beaumont and Bear were Best Small Stand winners.  Clare McCombe, Creative Director commented on the win, “Blenheim is such a beautiful venue for an event and we are thoroughly enjoying meeting some of our very loyal customers. The judges liked our use of the smaller space, we are perfectionists and the hard work has really paid off.”

The Trade stand Awards were judged by The Duchess of Marlborough and Stable Events Ltd. Managing Director, James Gower.
